Oil Seed Rape straw is fast becoming the horse bedding of choice across the UK.
We hand select premium quality rape straw, which is then chopped then dust extracted. It creates a soft bedding that remains highly absorbent, holds its structure well avoiding big hocks from impact with a hard floor and helps to reduce dust levels in the stable.
Raviera Pro is 100% pure Rape Straw that has been chopped, dust extracted and sterilised to provide the best bedding for the equestrian market. Caviera Bedding has created this new sterilised bedding, designed for professionals who demand the very best. 99% of all spores, mould and allergens have been eradicated through our unique process whilst maintaining the bedding’s structure, high absorbency values and softness.
Our unique process allows us to sanitise and deodorise our bedding without the use of chemicals or detergents leaving a fresh clean product.
Caviera horse bedding will compost quicker than any other natural bedding, reducing labour and large muck piles. Disposal of rotted manure is generally easier when using rape straw and preferred by farmers, compared to wood based bedding.
