Caviera bedding bales weigh approx 20kg each. Below are specific details covering all aspects of how your bedding will be delivered.

Packaging
Each pallet has a heavy duty wrap to keep the bales secure during transit. It is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of all packaging including the pallet.

Delivery Costs
Charges are calculated by postcode area and are added in the shopping cart. All orders are shipped using an economy service and should be delivered between 1-3 days after your order has been confirmed. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

We use the pallet network or our own vehicles for local deliveries for all internet orders and whilst we will try to keep to your preferred delivery date, we may not be able to guarantee it.

Postcode Exclusions and Surcharges
Certain postcodes throughout the UK, primarily areas that are on the fringe of the country, attract higher rates. You will be notified at the ‘Calculate Shipping’ stage or your order.  If your postcode falls within these areas, please call us on 01302 759420 to confirm the delivery rate.

Order processing
We aim to process your order within 48 hours of receipt.

Delivery Vehicle
Our deliveries are made using large lorries or long vehicles. You will be asked about restricted access at the time of order. We must be notified of any restricted access details prior to dispatch. All deliveries are made using a tail lift vehicle or long wheel base trailer. This is a platform at the back of the vehicle used to lower the pallets down to the ground. Delivery will generally be kerbside depending on the vehicle used and the access to site. If there are access problems such as uneven ground, narrow lane and driveway or overhanging trees, the goods will be left in the nearest easily accessible and safe access point for the address stated. The delivery driver is not able to help you move the goods from the point of delivery to any other part of your property.

Damage In Transit
Goods must be inspected upon delivery. If there is visible damage of any description, you must mark DAMAGED GOODS on the delivery note and NOTHING ELSE.

Customers must inform us directly (in addition to signing the delivery note which we may not see for a further 3 days) within 24hrs if any of their goods have been damaged during haulage.

Photographic evidence of ALL damage will be required to aid with any insurance claim against the haulage contractor.
