Raviera with Lavender - premium rape straw horse bedding Caviera Horse Bedding

All our horse bedding products are supplied in compressed 20kg bags giving you a long lasting, affordable and quality product.

Product Overview

Our latest addition to our equestrian bedding range is Raviera with Lavender. Riders using our Lavender infused bedding enjoy the calming Lavender fragrance whilst those horses who may have had a tendency to bed eat, were found to be less likely to.

It uses the same high quality oil seed rape straw, which is then processed to create a highly absorbent and dust extracted bedding and with the addition of Lavender essential oil,  known for its stress relieving, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties, both horse and owner benefit. The addition of a harmless bittering agent also discourages bed eating.

How to use Caviera horse bedding

For a totally new bed, our customers suggest that 2 bales are sufficient for a 12ft x 12ft stable, where the bedding covers approximately half the floor including banking.

Caviera bedding is flexible enough to be fully mucked out daily, or deep bedded, skipping out droppings daily and removing wet bedding as desired.

If possible, its a good idea to brush the bedding back to let your floor or matting dry but this isn’t essential.  Put your horse bedding back in place, building banks to avoid casting, just like you would for shavings.
