Using premium grade wheat straw, we have developed Caviera Classic a bedding for owners who prefer a more traditional straw.

Wheat straw is chopped then dust extracted, just like every product in our range. Chopping the straw into short lengths makes it easier to muck out and the dust extraction helps to maintain a healthy stable environment.

Caviera Classic is a modern take on traditional wheat straw bedding but with the convenience of being bagged into compressed 20kg bags.

Your Caviera delivery will be delivered via the pallet network and will arrive on a large lorry with a tail lift. Therefore, access should be sufficiently wide enough, free from obstacles and reasonably level to ensure the safe handling of your horse bedding. Please also bear in mind that pallet trucks will not run effectively on soft ground or loose gravel.

LORRY SIZE: 13 METRES LONG X 2.8 METRES WIDE X 3.4 METRES TALL + 1.8M TAIL LIFT

Access MUST BE wide enough, free from obstacles and reasonably level to ensure the safe handling of your horse bedding. Pallet trucks WILL NOT RUN effectively on soft ground or loose gravel.

How to use Caviera horse bedding

For a totally new bed, our customers suggest that 2 bales are sufficient for a 12ft x 12ft stable, where the bedding covers approximately half the floor including banking.

Caviera bedding is flexible enough to be fully mucked out daily, or deep bedded, skipping out droppings daily and removing wet bedding as desired.

If possible, its a good idea to brush the bedding back to let your floor or matting dry but this isn’t essential.  Put your horse bedding back in place, building banks to avoid casting, just like you would for shavings.
